This should be rectified quickly IMO and would make it much easier to design more optimized characters even outside a build planner. You can see a generic DPS number on your skill but no breakdown of its crit or attack/cast speed. The main fault I would give is that the character sheet does not show stats for your skill, its just your auto attack stats. There is no information in Poe that tells you what Armor does in PoE and even worse, it misleads you in character sheet. I was able to deduce that armor is a very good stat in LE because I could hover over the Armor stat in my character sheet and see exactly the formula and mechanics of armor in the game. I didn't have to go into the menu to tick off an option to see Advance Mod, its just available by default. I never went to the wiki for anything or used any 3rd party tool for the game because all the information felt fairly straightforward. This made making build choices much easier. It clearly delineates what is a more multiplier and very importantly gives the formula for each stat. But more importantly when viewing done stat, affix or skill it clearly defines what everything is. There are a lot of useful tips that actually explain the mechanics and there is a glossary for all the terms. I think LE is the most approachable ARPG in a long time and there are many reasons for this. I think the PoE2 campaign will wipe the floor with the current LE campaign but that's hard to process now since it's so far away. Voice acting and soundtrack were solid but I think I still prefer PoE here. The end chapter bosses were cool in design but didn't leave a big impact on me because I didn't find them to be that hard except for the last couple. The chapters on lower in length than an average PoE act but by not that much (and length various, chapter 9 is much bigger than chapter 9).
The Campaign is not complete they still have 3 more chapters to go. The scope and design of the Chapters improved with each one and the last three were above the rest. I didn't have any attachment to the characters until close to the end. The lore is whatever to me, just a bunch of jargon like PoE. I like the concept of different eras and timelines, it was a neat way to reuse assets and maps without making them feel repetitive. actually great ready to hear that a lot in this review). It's slightly better than PoE because it's easy to go between zones (you don't need to be in town or at a waypoint to fast travel which is a nice quality of life. It doesn't have that allure or atmosphere of something like D2. It was fine to go through once but I am not in a rush to play through. Still worth pointing out that Glad spellslinger is megabuffed probably with the reservation changes and should be super smooth to play even in red maps.Ĭampaign was. Still haven't seen anything in the same solar system as that Darkee TR champion if you want dot bow league start. The Dance WIth Death timeless keystone is just crazy for COC builds and especially lightning COC builds with their big dmg ranges, if you can reduce the incoming damage from crits the mjolner builds might be back on the menu, especially if there's going to be fortify on hit options on tree so you don't need a corruption to play the build.Įdit: I messed with a take at Grimro's TS CF build and I think if you just wanted a 1.5-2M DPS tanky bow with godlike clear it wouldn't be that bad, but to start to get past 4.5M or so DoT DPS (which is very good btw) you start having to cut up the 3.16 defense model a bit and the gear goes from "ugh" to "super unfun" real fast.
#Path of exile wiki determination mod
Being able to ignore the map mod and take less spike damage out of nowhere is a big deal. Wonder what kind of additional crit damage mitigations we'll be able to get.
It's one of the smoothest ways to level in the game when the damage is there. Not sure how it will hold up late game, but leveling should be S tier again. It received a harsher damage loss because it still works very well with Elemental Overload.Īrmageddon Brand is probably going to be the best way to level ele builds due to the changes unless I'm missing something. Because of base Ignite damage changes, Ignite with the skill is now 10.1% higher. It now has "Deals 10% more hit Damage to Branded Enemy" at gem level 1, which scales up to 29% at gem level 20. It now activates every 1 second while Attached (previously 0.75 seconds), and has a Critical Strike Chance of 5% (previously 6%). It no longer has 120-250% more Damage with Ignite, or 25% chance to Ignite Enemies.
Worst case I just stay slinger since it works. I want to play some of the new spells, and I would be using them before swapping over. Might actually go with the CF TS build grimro is talking about.
